 Paintings leading up to and away from the States Series including new works were shown in the East Gallery of the Clinical Center at National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland,  February through May 2021. Rescheduled from 2020 and still no visitors permitted, doctors, patients and staff were able to see it. 

 
 States: Paintings from the American Road

States: Paintings from the American Road  was exhibited at Crossroads Gallery in the Goodwin House,  Falls Church, Virginia. The opening was July 5 with a gallery talk and discussion. This was the summer show up until September, featuring paintings of all fifty states including new work and pieces that lead to this series.

 

 
 The Westmoreland Art Nationals, Juror

Karen was the juror for the May 2018 exhibition Westmoreland Art Nationals in exhibit south of Pittsburgh.

 Retrospective

Karen Stinnett: Retrospective on exhibit during April 2018, featured over 100 paintings and prints including years at Cranbrook and a wall about Art Rocks Athens through the States series and current work at the Highland Center for the Arts Gallery in Warrenton, Virginia.

 
 Art Rocks Athens

 

Art Rocks Athens is a foundation created to archive and celebrate the visual arts influence on the music that exploded from the scene in Athens, Georgia in the 1975-85 era and influenced the wider music world.  Involved in the planning of the exhibitions, Karen has 5 works in the show Between Rock and an Art Place, curated by Robert Croker,  May 23 – July 19, 2014 with hopes for travel.

The States series  was exhibited at the Performing Arts Gallery at the Illinois Central College in East Peoria, Illinois January 23 - February 15, 2013.

 
 Small Prints Retrospective

February 26- March 22, 2013Firehouse Gallery at Rogue Community College in Grants Pass, Oregon, will be exhibiting 25 years of small prints, one from December 1 of each year since 1987.

Karen was the juror for the October 2011: Regional Exhibition in the Frederick Gallery.  At the opening on October 7 she gave a gallery talk and presented awards.  The juror's statement is on the gallery website.

 States Show: Krempp Gallery

Karen exhibited the States Series at the Krempp gallery at the Jasper Arts Center in Jasper, Indiana, June-July of 2011.

 
 States: Paintings from the American Road Show

The States Series began touring in June 2010 with an exhibit at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. There was a reception with a gallery talk. The viewers asked thoughtful questions and the trip to get there was a tour of the Great Lakes states with new painitngs to follow.

 
 Solo Exhibit: Highland Center for the Arts

With 70 paintings exhibited for the month of October 2008 in the main gallery, Karen debuted her complete States series on October 3, 2008. Paintings from all 50 states were on exhibit as well as a selection of works leading up to this series and prints from her annual series.

 Solo Exhibit at Bob Rauschenberg Gallery.

In June 2006 Karen had a solo show at the Bob Rauschenberg Gallery in Fort Myers Florida and gave a gallery talk about it.

Bob was intimately involved in the development of and the growing prestige of this gallery and will be much missed there and by the entire art world.
